Sports and outdoors Nearby You'll find lots of options for outdoor recreation. Starting from a relaxing stroll along the river nearby, to a full day hike in Sipoonkorpi National Park. The Kuusijärvi lake beach and lit trails are about 5 kilometers away, as well as the Keinukallio crosscountry ski area in Kerava. Kuusijärvi also offers higly poppular Finnish smoke saunas all year long. An even more peculiar smoke sauna experience can be found at Sipoonjoki heritage sauna. Beutyful bicycle route along the old King's Road swings close by too. Talma village in Sipoo offers a variety of services such as downhill skiing, adventure park for kids and a golf course - all within a 20 min. drive from Jokivarsi. For golf enthusiasts there are greens also at Hiekkaharju (Vantaa), Tuusula and Porvoo, and indoor training is possible at Padel & Golf Plaza Tuusula. Furry friends will enjoy the swimming pool and services at Venyvä Koira.
Shopping and other little pleasures In the area you will find two adorable shops for house decor, both also housing a coffee shop! Korson Wanha Asema is located at the Korso historic Railway Station, and is a combination of two shops and a cafeteria. Shops are all about ecological lifestylemade beatyful, in the café, don't forget to taste the Korso cake. While in Korso, pay a visit to Korson Suutari, if you like unique hand made leather goods. Koiramäen Pajutalli is a bit further, in Tuusula, but especially in summertime it offers geat adventure for kids - and wonderful shopping for parents. Those into fishing will want to visit the Ruoto megastore in the same neighbourhood. Also in summertime, the Old Lehmusto Farm organizes farm sales with exquisite products, as well as workshops and excursions. Fashion enthusiasts obviously head to Helsinki Outlet Village, or to find special pieces in Arkisto Second Hand countryside shop. Last but not least - endulge yourself in Chocolate factory Fazer visitor center.
Restaurants Within walking distance from Villa you will find the well-known Burger King and a Asian Burger joint Shoku, praised by burger enthusiasts. More varieties in menus you will find in restaurants Rodeo Steakhouse and Turkish restaurant Efesosin Korso, or head out to Nikkilä for a nice dinner in Sipoon Kellari or Sapori D'Italia. Culture Friends of art and history will find interesting places to visit too; In Nikkilä, Sipoo, there are two beautyful churches; the old stone church and a "new" one from late 1800's. Further south the Gumbostrand art gallery-boutique-coffee shop is a lovely place to visit especially in summer time. Also the Tuusulanjärvi-area hosts many interesting museums. In Tikkurila look for the Old Train Station to find the Vantaa City Museum. Porvoo Old Town will make a great day-trip - or why not follow the historical King's Road even further.
